Wild<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

I was found in the wild<\/em>
\n Told I was lost<\/em>
\n Made to wear shorts<\/em>
\n and put on a shirt<\/em>
\n I am now civilized<\/em>
\n On the inside or outside?<\/em><\/p>\n

I was happy in the wild<\/em>
\n Unencumbered by cloth and shoes<\/em>
\n I was happy to jiggle<\/em>
\n I didn’t know what it was<\/em>
\n Till they told me<\/em>
\n I just liked the air as it coursed between my legs<\/em><\/p>\n

I am lost in the city<\/em>
\n Men’s ways confound me<\/em>
\n I couldn’t care less for the fork<\/em>
\n My fingers hold the stew<\/em>
\n Better than the metallic spoon<\/em>
\n They said Silver was for the ears<\/em>
\n Then I found it on the table<\/em><\/p>\n

I lost the plot<\/em>
\n They lost the plot<\/em>
\n I didn’t know there was a plot<\/em>
\n Which plot?<\/em>
\n The one where I give up the freedom of the wild<\/em>
\n For the shackles of the city?<\/em>
\n No, not that one. may be the other?<\/em><\/p>\n

I was sent to school<\/em>
\n I wrote words on paper<\/em>
\n Then I wiped with paper?<\/em>
\n It was hot on the inside<\/em>
\n Moving leaves told of cooling breeze<\/em>
\n So I took to the trees<\/em><\/p>\n

I left the shorts and the shirt<\/em>
\n Neatly folded on the patio<\/em>
\n While they watched animals on the video<\/em>
\n Why? The Owl was on the fence and the Aardvark in the field across the road<\/em>
\n I am free once again<\/em>
\n They can call it jiggle while they giggle<\/em>
\n Me, I just like the air as it courses between my legs<\/em>
\n Out here in the wild<\/em><\/p>\n
