Hausa Rasta

I am not trying to stereotype the tribe – if anything, it’s as if I am stereotyping the other tribes, after all we are one. But I don’t think I have seen a Northerner sporting dreadlocks before. He was coming towards me, wearing one of those trousers with pockets everywhere (name eludes me at the moment) and a sleeveless t-shirt. With earphones in his ears and an iPhone or a music player in his hand. He was miming what he was listening to I assume – at the top of his voice “wetin i be, weting you be”. I assume he was intoxicated from the way he was swaying slightly as he went along. All was well in his world 🙂
